Writing....

I have often loved to write, even if it is random ramblings about life or whatever. But, I let someones criticisms make me a bit self conscious and I drew back in on myself, not wanting to express myself, not putting my thoughts or feelings out there, for fear of being ridiculed, judged or hurt. But, things are becoming different, I have had time to sit back and reflect, I am getting some of my confidence back, getting thicker skin. Never before had I let people sway me one way or the other, I have come to realize I am much happier not worrying what others are saying or thinking. I know who I am, I know I am a great person, a great friend, to those who let me be.

So, I will write, I will share my thoughts, and share my life with those who are willing to share it with me. I am optimistic of my future, I have so many goals and plans. College, family, so much I can do.

I have digressed....my original intent was to write about writing. But then I realized why I had stopped in the first place. It was a stupid reason, I can blame no one but myself...I will no longer let others hold me back...that is fully my fault.

My point? Well, I want to be a Dentist one day, but long before that, back in High school, I have always loved English and Writing. So, here are my thoughts on what I plan on doing...

I am going to try and start at Jacksonville University as a Full time college student this summer (application already sent out). I have God and my husband to thank for that. All I have to do is pay for books, tuition is taken care of. So, I will hold off on getting a job, and focus on my studies, I am going to work on getting my Bachelors in English, I want to be a writer. But, I am not forgetting Dentistry, I want to be able to do that, but I am working on my English courses first, then once I am more comfortable with College courses, I will work on getting some prerequisites out of the way for Dental School. Anyone a good math tutor? :-)

Anyhow, to my friends...I love you guys, you know who you are. Thanks for caring enough to read my ramblings, and stick through thick and thin with me...through my ups and downs, and in the end, being there with just a kind word or two.

Keep looking for more of my ramblings, and maybe some short stories in the future.

LIFE IS GREAT!
